What We Do

Interior Design

Using the agreed space plans, we will develop our proposals to a full design. Presenting options along the way and using samples of materials, images and visualisations we will assist you in making the key decisions. Layouts will become more detailed, colours and products will be incorporated and our specifiers will always help you keep one eye on the cost.

Office Furniture

Furniture that meets your specific requirements in terms of function and your aspirations in terms of aesthetics and style, will be specified, supplied and installed by our dedicated teams. This will compliment the overall look of your new environment and be tailored to match your budget, as well as giving the opportunity to enhance branding and marketing.

Space Planning

Having surveyed your premises and collected information about the way your business operates, we will space plan your existing or potential premises, providing ‘test fit’ layouts to illustrate how your premises could be planned more effectively. With property and rental costs as they are, this could be crucial in avoiding relocation or better utilising the space you already have.

Fit-out & Refurbishment

Once we have an agreed set of proposals including designs, costings and programmes, we can start to create your new business environment. Karris will deal with all applications and permissions, health and safety issues and full project management. A combination of in-house teams, sub-contractors and trusted partners will deal with every aspect.

At Karris we recognise the importance of first impressions, and pride ourselves in our friendly and informal approach to an initial meeting. This is where a working relationship will be established, so our team are focussed on listening to your requirements and working through a mutually convenient way of moving your project forward. The aim here is to come away with an understanding of your expectations, whilst giving you the confidence in our ability to handle your project.
Once we have an overview of your requirements, we can start to convert them into ideas and concepts. This will involve an initial layout with design concepts; more of a planning process which will enable you to determine whether your office will function correctly, before more detail is added in later stages. We will also introduce some product ideas to suit your budget, and guidance on the expected costs.
If you are happy with our initial proposals, this is where the creativity starts! Our design team will develop your layouts into a fully coherant set of plans, mood boards and material suggestions. If required, we can work with you to introduce branding ideas into your new office, or develop a completely new brand for your company. At this stage we are looking to evolve your space plans into a complete interior design project.
Once the designs and specifications have been approved and you are happy to proceed, the steps will be made to initiate your project. This is where our designers, specifiers, project managers and site supervisers come together and work through the programme to ensure that every stage runs smoothly. Depending on your requirements our work can be carried out in one continuous phase, or broken down over time periods that ensure minimal interruption to the smooth running of your daily business.
